Guided ski & snowshoe tour packing list:

What to wear:

  1. Synthetic moisture wicking long underwear
  2. Medium weight synthetic jacket or pullover
  3. Waterproof, breathable jacket and pants
  4. Windproof, snow repellent gloves or mittens
  5. Synthetic or wool liner socks & over socks
  6. Synthetic or wool warm winter hat
  7. Gaiters
  8. Sunglasses

IMPORTANT: Please dress in layers, NO cotton or denim while on the trail.

What to bring on your trip:

  1. Wide waxless trail skis or snowshoes / ski or snow boots
  2. Nordic poles with larger trail baskets
  3. Day backpack (big enough to carry extra layers, water & sack lunch)
  4. Lunch & snacks (provided on full day tours) call with dietary restrictions
  5. Water bottle
  6. Sun block and lip balm
  7. Extra clothing to change into after a day of skiing or snowshoeing
  8. Camera & small binoculars

Many of these items are available for purchase or rent at the Glacier Outdoor Center.
